RACHEL SCHEER NUTRITION · ESTABLISHED 2017
The RSN Institute trains coaches and medical professionals in functional nutrition - with the clinical reasoning, framework, and lab testing interpretation that separate real practice from protocol-reading. Then we help our graduates launch, grow, or be placed in a thriving practice.
A client can have the right assessment and the right labs ordered and still struggle to heal - because the interventions weren't applied with proper sequencing.
Most functional practitioners don't follow a clinical model. They find root causes and throw protocols at them - lab-and-supplement combinations deployed in parallel, without the proper order. The RSN Method is the clinical framework we teach inside the institute - a sequenced approach that addresses the body in the order that allows healing to occur. The framework is what turns a certificate into a career.
Most certification programs end at the credential. The RSN Institute treats certification as the beginning — with equal investment in how our graduates actually build careers.
Clinical training in functional nutrition
A two-tier curriculum grounded in clinical framework, sequenced protocols, and the discernment to know when and why to use them.

Join an established practice
Not every graduate wants to build a business. We connect graduates with our hiring community, partner clinics, and Rachel's professional network — warm introductions to functional nutrition roles before they hit the job boards.
The foundational credential for root-cause practice.
For practitioners who interpret and act on data.
You are not broken - the problem is the approach.
I was told I needed surgery to remove my large intestine. I refused. Years of functional nutrition work rebuilt my body - and became the methodology I now use to train the next generation of practitioners.
AANWC / ANWCB accreditation delivers the third-party, international recognition you need to stand out in today's crowded wellness education landscape.
All graduates are pre-qualified for Board Certification with AANWC / ANWCB. Custom board certification titles are available if standard titles don't reflect your specific scope of practice.
Pre-qualified for GEHA licensure — a 501(c)(3) Ecclesiastical association operating under First and Fourteenth Amendment protections, with a defined scope of practice pathway across all 50 states. Most certifications offer a credential. GEHA gives you a defined practice pathway.
Recognized through ANWPB for continuing education credits. Tier I earns 50+ CEUs based on training hours; Tier II earns 80+ CEUs — applicable toward your professional renewal.
The RSN certification is a seamless blend of scientific knowledge and practical application. I now have the resources to confirm root-cause suspicions for clients and the expertise to implement individualized protocols confidently.

I was completing school and wanted to bridge into functional nutrition. The mentorship brought tangible results. I kickstarted my practice, expanded my services, and ultimately doubled my income.
